Join us for AutismTN UAI In-Person Special Event:

Music Therapy Group Session with Award Winning Musician & Educator Dave Nooe

**Please note: this event is open to members of the Unveiling Autistic Identity Community Group for late-discovered Autistic adults**

Date: Sunday, May 18th, 2025

Time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. CT

Location: Provided Upon Registration

Musician, songwriter, creator, and teacher Dave Nooe will lead an enthusiastic music therapy group session aimed at identifying what music can do to meet sensory needs, to strengthen a connection to self, and to let loose. Nooe will discuss facets of music such as tonalities, the intersection of music and color, articulation, softness, and tempo. He also has a personal link to the UAI community, as the spouse of group member Jenny Nooe.

Participants will have the opportunity to share the role music plays in their life, try out instruments and/or sing, and take part in songwriting. The session will culminate with creating music together, incorporating lyrics and movement. Participants with instruments of their own are encouraged to bring them.
