EmployME was created to offer a simple resource where autistic teens and adult self-advocates can independently navigate PreEmployment Resources, Independent Living Supports, and Inclusive Employers.

In addition to the Pre-Employment, Independent Living, and Employer informational webpages, AutismTN Staff will support you throughout the job seeking process by offering two small group sessions that are held online.  Session one entails an overview of the "Job Seeker Resource Guide", Q &A  about the guide, and provide additional employment resources.  The second small group session entails a general overview of social skills in an interview and in the workplace.  Your registration also includes access to the EmployME closed Facebook book where you can connect with other job seekers.

EmployME for Job Seekers is FREE until October 2022 and includes:

  • Job Seeker Resource Guide

  • Two small group information sessions

  • Closed EmployME Facebook group

Upcoming EmployME Small Group Sessions Schedule includes:

  • October 24th and 26th - spots available
  • January 30th and February 1st - (registration opens on December 1st)

In addition to the above resources, EmployME participants can also access optional small group Interview Skills coaching sessions and 1:1 Resume Consultation with an AutismTN Consultant at a reduced fee.  AutismTN staff will discuss this with you during your first small group session.

We are thankful to our grantor, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, for awarding the funding to help make EmployME possible and to the AutismTN staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, stakeholders, and those actually autistic for helping us create a meaningful program.
