AutismTN is Hiring!

Are you passionate about the mission of AutismTN? Do you have experience in Community Outreach and a strong understanding of the needs of the autism community? If so, we invite you to join our team as the AutismTN Outreach Manager!

The Community Outreach Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing the organization's education and advocacy programs, community outreach, and engagement efforts. The Manager will work to refine and implement current strategies that build relationships and partnerships within the community. The Manager will also be responsible for providing planning support to the organization's Special Events and fundraising efforts.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to multitask and manage multiple program tasks simultaneously.

Ambassador Programs

Autism TN Community Ambassadors are community volunteers who have a passion for sharing information about autism. Community Ambassadors are an army of volunteers that represent Autism TN in their local communities by raising awareness, engaging with their local community, leveraging their network, participating in community events, organizing grassroots fundraising efforts. College  ambassadors are committed to educating the public about autism so that people in our communities can make a decision about creating communities that are inclusive for all. Ambassadors pledge to offer their diverse skills, talents and experiences as volunteers with Autism Tennessee to help increase awareness about the lack of community resources for individuals with autism and to help increase funding sources for Autism Tennessee. Advocacy Efforts

We advocate for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We stay on top of news and policy that affects the autism community and collaborate with the greater disability community to act when necessary both locally and nationally. The staff at Autism Tennessee sit on committees, coalitions, boards, and panels to provide stakeholder input on policy issues.
