At AutismTN, we believe that everyone deserves to celebrate and be celebrated, especially on their birthday. Unfortunately, individuals with autism often aren't invited to birthday parties or find celebrating their own an exhausting experience. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Birthday Bash, during which participants of all ages will be celebrated in a fun, and sensory friendly way.
During the Birthday Bash, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Adventure Science Center*, including the Sudekum Planetarium, with sensory friendly accommodations, enjoy a hot breakfast of pancakes with all the toppings, and celebrate with cupcakes and ice cream. Each celebrant will receive a gift and goodie bag to take home.
Date: Saturday, April 30th, 2022
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 am.
Adventure Science Center - 800 Fort Negley Blvd, Nashville
*Attendees will have exclusive use of the Adventure Science Center for a one hour period including a quiet room. The doors will open to the public after the first hour. Those who choose to, can stay as long as they want during regular open hours at no extra charge or use their wristband to leave and return later in the day. Planetarium Show @ 9:30 AM (there is a 50 person limit to allow for social distancing)
Due to limited capacity, Birthday Bash is for individuals with autism and their immediate family members ONLY.
Registration Details:
AutismTN Premier and Advantage Family and Self-Advocate Members receive priority registration for all AutismTN events. Registration will be opened as follows:
- Family (Premier) and Self Advocates: February 1, 2022
- Family (Advantage): February 14, 2022
- Family (Basic) & General Public: February 28, 2022
