Each year, AutismTN HELPline Advocates respond to phone calls, texts, and emails about best practices for sensory integration, behavior management, and crisis intervention. This 2-day training, in partnership with DIDD, will demonstrate de-escalation strategies to families and caregivers with a child, family member, or loved one with moderate to severe behavior challenges. The techniques will be taught by a DIDD instructor and supports the caregiver in reducing escalating and/or crisis behavior. To be respectful of everyone's time and energy, registration for this outreach training is limited to 15 people. If you have questions about this training, please email outreach@autismtn.org.
